Hey Backers 👋,
The pledge collection phase is complete and Kickstarter has released the funds to us. We can now move into the BackerKit Survey phase. 🤗
BACKERKIT INVITATIONS
You should have already received your BackerKit invitation by email 📧. This is where you will be able to confirm your shipping address, add additional KLIPs 🔪, TL MICROs 🔦, steel cable rings, accessories, and/or upgrade to USPS Priority (Domestic) or FedEx Priority (International) shipping 📦.
If you have not received your invitation by email, please follow the directions below to get it:
1. Visit: https://tl-micro.backerkit.com
2. You will be asked to enter in your Kickstarter email address
3. Check your email for a special link to your survey
4. Enter the BackerKit survey, confirm your pledge reward level, and browse our Add-Ons
5. Enter in your shipping address and complete check out
ADD-ONS
We've added several add-on options and accessories at special Kickstarter rates. During the campaign we mentioned that we wanted to create a custom headband strap for your TL MICRO flashlight. Since we are producing only a limited number of these straps we highly recommend it.
There are no additional shipping costs when purchasing add-ons or accessories to ship with your pledge reward!
PAYPAL CHECK OUT
We are using PayPal as our secure method of payment 💳 for BackerKit Add-Ons. If you decide to get add-ons or purchase additional KLIP/TL MICRO rewards you will need to click on the yellow PayPal Check Out button at the very end of the survey to complete check-out...

SHIPPING PHASE
After everyone has signed up to BackerKit and we give some time to confirm pledge rewards and add-ons, we will lock-down the surveys as we come closer to the end of the manufacturing 🏭 phase.

THANK YOU!!! 🙏
Our TL MICRO + KLIP BLACK campaign closed with 605 backers and $28,272 in pledges! 🤗 We're excited to deliver an awesome micro-flashlight and matching black aluminum KLIP to the Kickstarter community.
WHAT'S NEXT? 🤔
Kickstarter is going to need two weeks to collect pledges. Once all the funds are collected they will release the funds. We will then be able to give our factory the green light to move forward with mass production. During the two week collection phase, we will be working on our BackerKit Survey & Pre-Order store where you will be able to confirm your pledge reward, purchase add-ons (e.g. additional flashlights, KLIPs, and other accessories) to ship together with your reward. You will also provide us your shipping address so we know where to send your package.
🔜 We will be sending out invitations as well as a Backer Update with instructions on how to use BackerKit in about 3 weeks.

Hey Backers,
Just a quick update to let everyone know we have been meaning to release a $25,000 Stretch Goal / Feature Upgrade. A number of backers have been asking if KLIP can come with a black blade. The answer is absolutely, yes! We are happy to announce that we are going to move forward with black stainless steel blades for a more stealthy, blacked-out look! It also matches up better with the black TL MICRO!
We will share a render and photo of the blades in a future backer update.

Goal Reached! Great first week of funding

Hey Backers,
What an incredible start and great first week of funding! We are super excited to be able to bring this unique micro-flashlight and super-sharp suspension hook & knife to reality! You recognize our dedication to providing quality everyday-carry essentials, and this inspires us to keep pushing forward.
UPDATES & ANNOUNCEMENTS
Similar to our first project, we wanted to have a more speedy production and delivery so we went ahead and gave our manufacturing partners the green light to order the raw materials necessary for the first round of MICROs & KLIPs. We hope that this can cut down on some of the delivery timeline so we can get these into your hands (and pockets!) sooner than later.
FREE TWIST-LOCK STEEL CABLE RINGS
We are giving backers a twist-lock steel cable ring with each KLIP and TL MICRO reward (one black and one silver). We wanted to throw this in as an added bonus for supporting our project! Not sure what these are? Please click here to learn more about these rings.
We really appreciate the questions, comments, and suggestions! It helps us improve our project flow and product designs now and into the future. We wanted to take a moment to address some of the more popular questions below...
Water Resistance - TL MICRO is currently splash-proof and dust-proof but it should be noted that due to the touch-sensor it is not a fully submersible flashlight. Similar to your smartphone, if water gets on the touch-screen it will will most likely conduct and affect the usability and operation of the device until you dry it off. It is best practice to keep TL MICRO dry as you would any other smart-device.
USB Type-C - We agree that a USB Type-C port upgrade as a stretch goal would be really nice and we are putting it on the potential list of future upgrades. However, one of our primary goals for this project was to develop a high-quality micro-flashlight in the smallest form-factor possible all while offering the lowest early bird pricing that we can; Micro-USB has allowed us to achieve that. At this time, we would like to use any additional funding (if possible) for the development of the headlamp accessory.
We will definitely keep everyone posted if we are able to improve the water-resistance or upgrade the charging port.
